A symphonic blend of nature and culture

Perhaps it is also the reason for Vietnam becoming one the most popular marine tourism destinations selected by international tourist. They come to Vietnam to not only relax by the blue sea enjoy the white sand, golden sunshine, but also learn about the multi-ethnic culture and heroic history that has seen many ups and downs.

One of the most attractive destinations to visit is Cua Dai Beach, Hoi An. This is an idyllic place due to the beauty of diversities merged together over hundreds of years of development. This special place used to be a very busy commercial port named Haifo or Faifo in the late 16th century through to the early 18th century. The Cham, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Spanish, the Portuguese, and later the French came for trading and to settle in this land they left unfading footprints such as house, clubhouse decorated in Guangdon dynasty. There is the Chua Cau (Bridge pagoda), also known as Lai Van Kieu (Bridge built by people from far away), famous for its Japanese traditional during the French colonial style. All the houses, temples, bridges and clubhouses, along with other spiritual values are clustered together o create Hoi An City – a UNESCO world heritage site for well-preserved historical buildings.

Following the advice of a friend who’s working as a tour guide in Hoi An, I chose Le Belhamy Resort as a “hiding away and relaxing” place. Belhamy is a four star resort, located on a 320 meters long private beach. There’re many luxury resorts at Cua Dai Beach – Hoi An: including Palm Garden. Golden Sand, or Victoria … but the Belhamy is a little bit different because of it unique style of architecture. It seems that the architects who built the hotel wanted to bring out the architectural soul of the ancient town of Hoi An into the Belhamy Resort: The large lobby is in the style of a Guangdon Clubhouse. The Champa restaurant carries the shadow of French collocated in a Japanese style. They are all surrounded by green trees and colorful flower gardens. The architectural space is appropriately divided into different segments crating a gentle, relaxed and privately living space for guests. However, everywhere in the resort, you will see nature at its most beautiful, a true tropical paradise. Located 30 minutes by car from Da Nang international airport, Belhamy Resort is a place for those who after coming one time will want to return as soon as possible.
